There is a confusing array of speakers in the business space
First, there is the Keynote speaker who is mostly engaged at the beginning of a conference to specifically imprint and emphasise the main purpose of the event. They are not necessarily industry specialists or experts in the space although they will bring credibility as speakers with recognisable presence. Often business, entertainment or sports personalities will have the ability to deliver unique, entertaining and stimulating views. Their principal role is to leave the delegates geared up in anticipation of the main event.
As with all speakers, the Keynote speakers will require a full brief before accepting but will leave the details of the event to others. They differ markedly from Inspirational speakers, motivational speakers, plenary session speakers and other forms of guest speakers who may follow during the ensuing agenda.
